Roni won a big award (delta omega society which is a big thing in PH - go Roni!).

Just got back from Wilmington DE visiting my niece Lily -
she is officially 5 months clock wise, but 3 months developmentally -
She is still in the hospita at Dupont Children's Center - but looking good, just had surgey on her GI tract - as weird as it may seem we are all hopig she poops soon - funny 'cause if she were Emmet this would happen in the next minutes. Anyway she is looking good and soon hopefully she'll be home.

In other news - my thesis saga continues.
The process is coll - but g_d dammit I gotta finish.
I'm too old fot this shit.

Just got 4warded feedback on a NIH grant from a PI I've been working with, 2 of 3 reviewers dinged for not yet having a PhD - the irony being my previous work history much better qualifies me than this thesis work. Motherfuckas reviewing are prolly like 22 yrs old any hoo..

I ain't bitter, just OLD and PhDless at this point, as if the doctorate will transform me..

On a more + note I've lost 20+ lbs and continuing..
And my family rules!
