June is upon us

And its getting hot in herre to say the least - the 3rd straight day of the heat and humidity that Baltimore is known for at this time of year...takes some adjusting to, and some action - gotta deal with the AC situation in the house.

So I know everyone wants to know - did you chill with Young MC? The answer is ..well, sort of. He was in the house at Roni's 20th reunion. It was a slightly crowded affair with about 150 people maybe - it was held at some swanky Manhattan Club. The call of '85 had the room from 7-11, and at 11 it was opened to the Hoi-Polloi. Well, the rich Hoi-Polloi : part of the reunion deal was open bar, but that got cut off at 11 and we all got a drinks menu at this time - this is the kind of place where you can order booze by the bottle - like a bottle of Absolut or Grey Goose - for a HUGE markup ($350-$400, seriously, not including 20% servce charge)...I tried to talk Roni into ordering us a bottle of Pikesville whiskey and charging it to her thesis support grant, but she didn't bite.
