you're not paying attention..
so goes the popular bumper sticker theses days, and given my political leanings I surely concur...
but this sticker could also be speaking of the current state of lyrics in R&B songs when it comes to sex. Rock and roll has long been lame on this front - anyone for the "Lemon Song" by Zep or "Big Balls" by AC/DC or "Everybody Wants Some" by Danger Danger?

But R&B has had Prince, Barry White, Nelly, even Lisa Lisa to keep it smooth and sexy. Sure htere have been some anomalies - remember "I Wanna Sex You Up" by Colour Me Badd aka Color Me Cheezy?

But things have gotten out of hand so to speak.
First and foremost, the candy as a sex metaphor has to be kicked to the curb.
Fiddy Cent sings
"I'll take you to the candy shop, I'll let you lick the lollipop"..
is his new movie called "Get Cheesy or Die Trying'" or what?

And Trick Daddy's opus "Sugar" is pure Velveeta.

Far be it from me to claim I know from sexy...but this sounds like she is describing chronic acne..

But by far the worst offender in my book is a song by Marques Houston, "Naked"..her's a snippet:
