(I know its a vain thing to search on ones self but sometimes you need a potential ego boost - but alas, my finding did little to boost the ego)

On Saturday I did that thing with the MPHers and watching my advisees present-
on mother's day my patterson park outing was with Roni and the boyz.

OK, so its been a while - sorry for the delay!
A lot has happened in the past two weeks
1) Emmet is back in full health, and his cheery fun self during the day - however, his sleeping has taken a serious turn for the worse..hopefully we can rectify this!

2) It finally happened! I got a personalized invite to dine with President Bush for $2500 (extra fees for photo ops of course), and get a complimentary membership to the Republican Inner Circle. I don;t have a lot of cash to spare, but this may the easiest thing I can do to be more like Eazy-E (RIP). It may cost a lot but at least they have an 800 number hotline in case I have questions.

3) Two weekends ago, grandad and gigi came for a fab visit.

4) This past weekend I attended the MPH capstone symposium at JHSPH- it was fun to see the students in a non-course setting and see some of my advisees do nice presentations. On Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day with a nice outing to Patterson Park to hit the kickass playgrounds and chill with the ducks.

5) This is the last week of the formal school year. This year has been awesome, I really have enjoyed my interactions with the great students at the school!

The Skinny

- had a great weekend with my boys Sean, Paul and Phil for my 15th year college reunion : a lot of bonding, clowning, and let's face it - boozin'. A great time, thanks boys!
- had a rough weekend (Roni had a really rough weekend) - Emmet got the dreaded stomach bug on Friday eve and ended up in the pediatric ER on Saturday - luckily, he was not dehydrated, and not in dire need of assistance - we went to the ER on the recommendation of the pediatrician on call - the call to go to the ER was more terrifying than the ER visit, but it is better to be safe than sorry
- had a great weekend with Micah at Liam's 4th birthday
- had a rough week (Roni's has been rougher) as Emmet has been out of school all week with the aforementioned bug
- had a great week, especially today hanging out with Emmet all day as he couldn;t go to school - we played, took a walk, went out in the wagon, played ball etc.. and really had a good daddy/son day

in other news, my thesis is going slowly. but you knew that.
