OK, so its been a while - sorry for the delay!
A lot has happened in the past two weeks
1) Emmet is back in full health, and his cheery fun self during the day - however, his sleeping has taken a serious turn for the worse..hopefully we can rectify this!
2) It finally happened! I got a personalized invite to dine with President Bush for $2500 (extra fees for photo ops of course), and get a complimentary membership to the Republican Inner Circle. I don;t have a lot of cash to spare, but this may the easiest thing I can do to be more like Eazy-E (RIP). It may cost a lot but at least they have an 800 number hotline in case I have questions.
3) Two weekends ago, grandad and gigi came for a fab visit.
4) This past weekend I attended the MPH capstone symposium at JHSPH- it was fun to see the students in a non-course setting and see some of my advisees do nice presentations. On Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day with a nice outing to Patterson Park to hit the kickass playgrounds and chill with the ducks.
5) This is the last week of the formal school year. This year has been awesome, I really have enjoyed my interactions with the great students at the school!

Item 4 seems to suggest that you spent Mother's Day with your advisees (and some ducks, of course). I hope this is not the case!
But if it is true, I hope that you can be my advisor one day. You go above and beyond, you do.
you are so good with proofing - what is the error called - its not a dangling phrase, but something to that effect?
I will fix the glitch - but I ever am your advisor I promise to take you to patterson park!
