Happy 2k7!

Sorry for the belated post -
its been hectic as I was teaching a two-week intensive data analysis course in the first two weeks of the year.

I WILL be a better blogger in the upcoming weeks.
I'm officially "on sabbatical" to complete my thesis now -
so blogging is good practice in the sense of writing something that few folks will ever read.

I have to use the rest of the week to wrap stuff up at work, and then I'm going full time plus on my magnum opus, ya heard?

So instead of dwelling on past events, I'm moving forward with hopefully more timely updates of events to come.
